President Donald Trump said he has ordered the U.S. military to reposition two nuclear submarines in response to “highly provocative” statements from Russian officials over the war in Ukraine.
Trump announced the move on his Truth Social account. It wasn’t immediately clear what impact Trump’s order would have on U.S. nuclear subs, which are routinely on patrol in the world’s hotspots, but it comes at a delicate moment in the Trump administration’s relations with Moscow.
