Alaska Airlines grounded all its flights nationwide following a tech outage Thursday evening — the second time in roughly three months.

The airline announced a “temporary” ground stop over the issue and advised customers to check their flight status before heading out the door.

“Alaska Airlines is experiencing an IT outage affecting operations. A temporary ground stop is in place,” the carrier said in a statement. “We apologize for the inconvenience. If you’re scheduled to fly tonight, please check your flight status before heading to the airport.”

It’s unclear what caused the outage, but a similar IT issue led Alaska Airlines to ground all flights for nearly three hours in July.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
