It’s the best time — when you get to celebrate your love. You can probably already feel the eye rolls and hushed judgments coming, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
“Let’s be honest — weddings can sometimes start to feel a little same-old. But when you let your personality shine through, that’s when the magic happens,” said Felicia Luca, owner of Lifestyle Event Designs in Morganville, NJ. “But show off your personality, and suddenly it’s a heartfelt experience everyone will remember.”
Nothing elevates a wedding quite like customized details and personal touches that reflect the couple. From display tables topped with treasured family photos to interactive stations, it’s time to take your soirée’s “wow” factor up a notch. Ahead, some of our favorite ways to add personalized pizazz.
Get framed
Displaying some framed photos of loved ones (perhaps at their own nuptials) is a low-effort move to make a big impact It’s also a sentimental touch to honor departed family members.
Our vote is Framebridge’s Tabletop collection (from $35). Since you likely don’t want another DIY project, swing by a Framebridge store and work with a consultant who can frame things for you on the spot. Or, upload photos online.
Best bar none
A mobile bar cart service from Sip Social Co is sure to be a show-stopper on your wedding day. The basic mobile bar package is designed for under 100 guests and costs $1,250. It includes three hours of service, up to two drink taps (the host must purchase their drink or drinks of choice), disposable cups, a bartender and setup and teardown.
Best of all, though, you can tack on custom signage ($300), which makes for an even more festive photo op.
One stop shop
Anything from Minted. Seriously though. The ultimate online marketplace for beautiful day-of signage urges couples to think beyond names and dates.
“Signs can help tell your love story,” said Anna Wibbelman, general manager of Minted Weddings. “Use them to connect guests to your shared experiences, favorite places and favorite things,” she added, noting that you should consider where signs will be placed during your event so they enhance the guest flow and photo opportunities.
Some of Wibbelman’s top choices at the moment? Late-night snack menus, photo booth signs and custom illustrations of your pets, wedding venue or monogram.
Wibbelman also loves when couples use signage to create interactive experiences, like to invite guests to snap a Polaroid of the night or leave a heartfelt message in an audio guestbook. “Signs are also a great way to point out how guests can share photos with you, such as uploading their photos to a drive or album via QR code,” she said.
Aroma therapy
For something DIY, Kobi Cummings, co-owner of the Valley Venues in Wildwood, Georgia, thinks perfume bars are an au courant choice for weddings.
The certified wedding and event planner has taken inspiration from this for her own October 2025 nuptials: At cocktail hour, there was a build-your-own perfume station for guests “with little bottles that you can monogram,” said Cummings. “Scent sticks in our memories and so, if you’re really looking for an everlasting memory then a scent is a great thing,” she added.
Crystal ball
Gen Zers love their horoscopes. They love their crystals, too. Why not deck out your bridesmaids with some ethically sourced crystal collections?
“You can give crystals to your bridesmaids while everyone is getting ready together or leave them in hotel rooms,” said Amelia Randall, founder of crystal company Femstones. “It’s a beautiful, personal thank you gift that the women can all wear that day and also keep forever as a memorable gift and symbol of the love, support and friendship shared.”
Try their Ever After collection ($65/set) or the bespoke wedding collection ($78/set), where you can handpick the stones, box color, collection name, etc.
