These travel-ready treats are known to fly off the shelves.
The eSIM provider Holafly analyzed keyword search volumes both nationwide and by state to determine what are the most popular snacks available in airports.
Nationwide, America’s favorite cookie took the top spot. Oreos had 113,380 searches across the country, bringing it to number one.
Jack Link’s Beef Jerky and Cheetos Puffs took the second and third spot, respectively.
Cheetos Puffs’ hot and crunchy cousin, Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Crunchy, came in fourth, followed by Twizzlers to round up the top five.
Sour Patch Kids came in sixth place.
Meanwhile, the seventh most popular choice differs from the rest of the top picks in that it’s not a traditional chip or candy option. A doughnut from Dunkin’ took the spot.
Based on the map Holafly put together obtained by Delish, it appears that the people of New York prefer heading to Dunkin’ once they get to the airport.
Finishing up the top 10 are Welch’s Fruit Snacks, Doritos Cool Ranch and Haribo Gummy Bears, respectively.
The least popular airport snack turned out to be Chobani Vanilla Yogurt with just 8,700 searches — though it was the top choice in the state of Massachusetts.
Though many of these options may not seem ideal for a morning snack, when you’re at the airport, anything goes.
