A Rare Occurrence: Binance Founder CZ Predicts the Future of Bitcoin Price

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange and still considered the most influential name in the management, added a new one to his rarely made market predictions today.

CZ said he predicts that the total market capitalization of Bitcoin will surpass the total market capitalization of gold in the future.

The renowned founder, who didn’t provide a specific date, maintained that while it might take some time for this event to occur, it will happen. He also requested that his followers save the tweet so they can find it again in the future when it happens.

CZ has previously made numerous predictions for Bitcoin, many of which have come true. In 2020, Changpeng Zhao predicted that Bitcoin could reach $100,000.

In one of his latest predictions, he claimed that Bitcoin could reach a point between $500,000 and $1 million this cycle.

At the time of writing, the BTC price is trading around $110,000, 12% lower than its all-time high price of around $126,000.

If current supplies are maintained, 1 BTC would need to reach $1.5 million for Bitcoin to surpass the total market value of gold.
